Middle School, located at the West Park campus, is the point at which BCCS students begin to experience the community and family in a new way. Grades 6, 7, and 8 have scheduled periods and switch classes. They have a home room, lockers, and student government. They spend a majority of time with their grade, but have the opportunity to mingle with the other Middle School grades on field trips, service projects, and for devotions. The teachers are certified to teach in their area of expertise. But beyond teaching, they encourage leadership in these students, helping them to learn their strengths and build on them. In addition, these students begin to have opportunities such as athletics and student government. These formative years help to prepare them for their high school years, where they will have more to balance in their schedules.
