Chicken Caesar Wrap
Crispy chicken, romaine, Parmesan, and Caesar dressing wrapped up tight
A chicken Caesar wrap is everything you love about a Caesar salad, but portable, more filling, and faster to eat. This version uses pan-seared or rotisserie chicken (no shame — rotisserie is amazing here), crunchy romaine, shaved Parmesan, and a generous drizzle of Caesar dressing, all wrapped tightly in a large flour tortilla.
Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, roughly chopped
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shaved or grated
- ½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- ½ cup croutons, roughly crushed
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Warm the tortillas in a dry pan for 30 seconds each side, or in the microwave for 15 seconds. This makes them pliable and easier to roll.
2
In a bowl, toss the romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing and lemon juice. Season with black pepper.
3
Lay each tortilla flat. Arrange the dressed lettuce in the centre, leaving a 2-inch border on all sides.
4
Layer the chicken slices over the lettuce, then sprinkle with Parmesan and crushed croutons.
5
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll up tightly from the bottom. Press firmly as you roll to keep everything compact.
6
Slice diagonally in half and serve immediately. If packing for later, wrap tightly in cling film or foil.
💡 Tip To keep the wrap from going soggy, dress the lettuce lightly and add the croutons right before rolling. A thin spread of cream cheese or hummus on the tortilla also acts as a moisture barrier.
Notes
- Swap chicken for grilled salmon or canned tuna for a different protein
- Add sliced avocado or cherry tomatoes for extra colour and nutrition
- Make it a salad bowl instead — just toss everything together without the tortilla
